For the most accurate individual fit, we recommend a physical measurement. This accounts for your unique posture and arm length.

Put on your regular walking shoes and stand naturally straight.

Let your arms hang down at your sides with a natural bend at the elbow.

Have someone measure the distance from your wrist crease to the floor.
Note on Bronze Canes: Unlike wooden canes, our Bronze Series have a fixed metal bottom and CAN NOT be shortened manually. Please ensure you provide the correct size during checkout for these models.

The first one I got was a beautiful rosy-golden bronze (apparently had a high copper content). It was, alas, stolen from me. The one I ordered to replace it is a very different alloy without a hint of coppery-ness to it. It is duller and paler with an almost greenish cast (and I don't mean the turquoise-green patina of verdigris, I mean a very faint ugly dull olive tint). The metal even smells different, a bitter odor. I wish very much that I could get a cane like the first one. It was possibly the most beautiful thing I owned, its beauty was some consolation for being handicapped, and I enjoyed it every day.
Oh, I'm so sorry you're not as satisfied with the cane as with the last order. The metal color may indeed vary slightly depending on the casting batch. We use recycled non-ferrous scrap metal, so each batch may have some variability, but only slightly. Try using a little metal polish to get a better shine and remove the metal smell.

My 2nd purchase from GC-Artis. The Sparrow is wonderful, cast beautifully. You can see the determination on the Sparrows face to get that blade of straw.
It is very comfortable to hold, and came with an extra tip and the all important strap.
If you're thinking of getting yourself or someone special a walking stick you just cannot go wrong with a walking stick from GC-Artis and Igor. It is the season to indulge yourself.
Arrived well within the time frame given, packaged very carefully and will bring a smile to my face for a long time to come.

Extremely fast shipping (5 days from Ukraine to US) and fantastic quality, artistry, and craftsmanship. The grip is surprisingly comfortable, although I'm not sure how it would feel on larger hands. Not too heavy either. I get so many compliments and I cannot rate this seller highly enough. Would give 10 stars if I could.

This item was even more than I hoped! BEAUTIFULLY designed & executed! I LOVE it. The only possible drawback - not for me - is that it is made of real brass… therefore it is a bit heavy if someone is unprepared - I like that about it - for exercise and self defense😉

The handle is detailed and solid and very ergonomic.
However, the seller just buys in the handles and screws them to a shaft.
Even then, it's by far the best of the three canes I bought from this rather dubious seller.
I've now sourced the same handle and equivalent shaft and could put the cane together myself for less than £60 retail.
Caveat emptor.

High-quality item. As lovely as described. The bronze handle/knob makes it heavy. The sparrow handle, like its real-life counterpart, is small, So after a full day's use your palm will ache. This is a good half-day or special occasion cane.
